FORTUNE TELLER

The paper fortune teller has entertained children and adults for at least 100 years. It is a form of origami and goes by various names and is also known as a cootie catcher, chatterbox, salt cellar,or whirlybird. When used as a fortune teller, a player asks a specific question, and the operator goes through a series of steps to determine the question's answer which is hidden inside the paper folds.

All you need to make one is a sheet of paper, any size. A sheet of printer paper works perfectly. You can tear off any excess if you don't have scissors.

The short video tutorial below gives an excellent presentation of how to build one and how to use it, although many variations exist and you should devise your own.

For your answers, I suggest the following:
1- Yes!
2- It is advisable
3- Not too sure
4- Maybe
5- No!
6- Why not?
7- Absolutely not!
8- It's possible
